Planning Committee Meetings are held each month on the first Tuesday of the month.

The meetings begin at 18.00 and are held prior to the Full Council Meeting in the Tourist Information Offices: 1, Hall Square, YO51 9AN.

Members of the Public may attend the Committee meeting if a request is made to do so to the Town Council Office team. At least 10 days notice is required for a request to attend. Please contact the office by telephone 01423 322956 for further information, during working hours.

There exists a regulated right for members of the public to speak at the meeting, which is managed by the Clerk team. The duration of any comments permitted, or for any spoken report to be delivered, is regulated to a maximum of 3 minutes, at the discretion of the Chair.
