I'm lucky to be able to say that Boroughbridge is my home town. I retired 12 years ago after working at Boroughbridge Primary school for 24 years. I enjoyed many years as Senior youth worker and worked with some amazing young people. It's a privilege to serve on the town council and be able to put something back into the community.

Cllr Peter Phillips retired after 43 years in the electricity supply industry and 35 years working in local communities around Boroughbridge and Harrogate as a senior youth worker. Rejoined the council in 2016 and took on the role of Mayor. I currently chair our police liaison group and take account of our commuted sums and community infrastructure levy. I am also a member of the schools liaison group and finance committee

Town Clerk from 1984-1989. Clerk to the Burial Board at Boroughbridge Town Council for almost 42 years and Assistant Clerk for two and half years.
Have lived in and around Boroughbridge for most of my life.
Agnes only recently joined the Council. Since moving to the Boroughbridge area in 2018 she has always been looking for opportunities to get involved with the local community. She enjoys interacting with local people and businesses through her job as Deputy Clerk and engaging with visitors and volunteers at the Tourist Information Point within the Council offices.
Liz has worked for the town council since 2021. She enjoys the busy office work and the interesting variety of tasks that are involved in supporting the council to perform their duties and look after the town.
