Good news- A progress report.

Progress on the proposed Sports Village at Stump Cross has taken longer than originally hoped, due to a number of reasons, including in part the transition to a York and North Yorkshire combined authority. The pre-planning stage has involved several complex steps, but recent discussions with a Senior Planning Officer at North Yorkshire Council confirm that all necessary requirements are now being satisfied.

The project team expects to submit plans to NYC in the new year. This major development is being delivered at no cost to local ratepayers and aims to significantly enhance recreation, leisure, and wellbeing facilities for the community.
