Concert In Boroughbridge for Charity

Harrogate Theatre Choir’s Spring concert ‘The Sound of Musicals’ will take a stroll through the feel good musicals of the 1940s and 50s, often known as the Golden Age Musicals. They’ll be singing favourites from Oklahoma, The King and I, The Sound of Music, South Pacific, Carousel, to name just a few. They’ll also be including well known songs from more contemporary musicals such as Wicked, The Greatest Showman and many more. All will have the HTC special treatment, so if you are a Musical Theatre fan you will LOVE this concert.

The concert aims to raise funds for BOROUGHBRIDGE COMMUNITY CHARITY. This local charity provides valuable support to residents and communities in the delightful market town of Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, and its 32 surrounding villages. The services they provide include a wide range of community events, transport, minibus days out, befriending and they also run a Community Larder.  They rely on a dedicated and committed group of volunteers to provide many of their services and always welcome new volunteers.
