Mayor's visit to the newly created Roman Gardens, Aldborough.

Mayor, Cllr Pauline Phillips and her consort were kindly invited to visit the newly opened Roman Gardens in Aldborough. Steven Beck, a member of the Friends of Roman Aldborough kindly donated a bench for the garden. A dedicated group of volunteers are creating the garden at the site. Visitors can now see plants the Romans introduced into Britain, including a wide range of vegetables and herbs that were used for medicinal purposes. Read More...
