Independent Monitoring Board (IMB)- Request for Volunteers

My name is Risha Balmer and I work for the Independent Monitoring Board. I support IMB volunteers to undertake a really important role; monitor places of detention including prison and immigration detention centres to ensure fair and decent treatment for detained people. Volunteers are appointed by the minister. We are currently recruiting at IMB Wetherby until 29 April 2024. We would love to be able to make people aware of this opportunity and if possible would love to share it to other staff/residents if possible in any capacity possible?

I have attached a leaflet which provides more information. If you are able to share this wider, this would be very much appreciated. Alternatively if you would like more information about the role, I can facilitate a phone/teams meeting.
