Boroughbridge Tennis Club has a reputation as one of the friendliest tennis clubs
in the area and offers a warm welcome to new and prospective members wishing to
join the club. All playing standards are welcome
Boroughbridge Tennis Club has an LTA affiliation. The club plays all year round
on three acrylic courts, in a beautiful setting, situated on the road between
Boroughbridge and Aldborough
The club has an outstanding record with its teams. Competitive players can enjoy
Harrogate Division 1 mixed doubles (we were champions in 2003 and runners-up in
2004) The club also has ladies and men’s teams that play in the Vale of Mowbray
and Dale Pack Leagues at weekends.
Junior players are very welcome and an integral part of the club. Coaching is
available and junior practice sessions are scheduled each week. A very successful
Junior Tournament is organised each July and has strong support from other local
clubs.
Social events are organised during the year including a Club Tournament during
the summer and a Village Tournament later in the season. The year concludes with
a Christmas Dinner Dance in December.
Club sessions are on Sunday 11am-1pm and Tuesday 6.30-8.30pm.
Annual subscriptions are approximately Adult £80 Junior £25 and Family Membership
£160.
