Boroughbridge & District Club

Boroughbridge & District Club was founded, in 1921, by men returning from the First World War looking for somewhere to pass their leisure time.
When the Club was formed it issued a number of £1.00 Shares to raise the funds necessary to purchase a redundant army hut from Ripon and erect it at the end of Mill Lane, where it remains to this day. These Shares were redeemed, at face value, by the Club in 1951

The Club provides facilities for Snooker, Billiards, Darts and Bridge and offers a warm welcome to anyone who would like to visit or join as a new member.

Subscriptions are currently as follows:
                        Full Member                                                   £45.00 per annum
Full Member (state pensioner)                      £22.50 per annum

Members are provided with a key and may use the facilities at any time they wish.  The Snooker tables’ lighting is operated by a 50p meter.
