The Council operates from premises at 1, Hall Square on the corner of the High
Street and Fishergate, which the council purchased in 2004.
The purchase of these offices reduces the ongoing running costs of the council.
The property includes a flat above which is currently let and generates income
for the council.

The Council offices are also home to the Visitor and Community information centre
and include rooms which are available to book for meetings by any interested parties.
