‘The Northern Aldborough Festival has over the years developed into

something which we believe is rather different from other festivals. Part of

its mission is to seek young talent and provide a platform for them,

especially those who have decided to make a career in professional music

making. Another part is our “Outreach” programme which takes live

music to places where it is not normally available. After morning concerts

our performers will visit schools, care homes, prisons, hospices and

hospitals. It is a most rewarding venture.’
