Abbeyfield (Ripon & District) Society Ltd
Abbeyfield (Ripon and District) Society Ltd is a non-profit making organisation providing supported sheltered housing for older people. Rooms are ensuite with facilities for making drinks/snacks, a fridge is provided on each floor and residents have the use of laundry facilities. Two main meals are provided daily in the communal dining room. There is a communal seating area in the dining room and a very pleasant summer house overlooking the garden. Along with a 24 hour emergency call aid system all this provides security, companionship and no worries regarding a myriad of bills and maintenance concerns. Above all there is total freedom for residents, who are actively encouraged to invite guests to their rooms.
