The Boroughbridge Community Care Lunch Club
meets every Wednesday at Gwendolen Court and is open to everyone over the age of 60. A two course hot meal with tea or coffee is served at noon. Transport is available if required.

Great Ouseburn Hidden Gardens and Spring Festival
11.00am - 5.00pm
£3.50 for adults; children under 16 free
Wander through 12 outstanding gardens. Meet Nigel Harrison, BBC Radio Yorks's gardening expert. Take a ride through the village on Martha, the steam bus and visit the Craft Fair and plant stalls.
Eat at the home-cooked cafe in the village hall, at the BBQ at the School or enjoy Sunday lunch in the newly re-opened Crown Inn.
For the children : visit the farm, animal garden and playground or take part in the Scarecrow Trail.
There is also the Fabulous Flower and Music Festival in the Church featuring 'AMICI'

Yorkshire 3  Peaks Challenge 2010
Macmillan Cancer Support are calling all challenge seekers to join them for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. Walkers will climb a total of 2,153 metres covering 23.5 miles up Pen -Y- Ghent followed by Whernside and finishing with the unforgiving Ingleborough - this is definitely not for the faint hearted!
